Pre-order The Best Kept Secret Now on Amazon!

It's here! The Kindle edition of The Best Kept Secret is now available for pre-order on Amazon!

As I gear up for the launch of my very first novel, I'm struck by just how simple it is for a book to succeed. Or not. In reality, book sales come down to word of mouth. Readers are going to write about, talk about, and tweet about books they love. And when there are lots of people talking about a book, other people notice.

It's not easy. But it is simple

My biggest hope for The Best Kept Secret is that everyone who reads the story will connect with it personally in some way. They might not all be in love with it, and that's alright. But if they feel something - if they read a phrase that jabs them in the heart a little, a phrase that makes them lean in a bit closer - that's enough for me.

If you're one of the people who do fall in love with this story, please take a few seconds to go on Amazon or Goodreads (or both) and post a review. And if you're not one of those people, your review is also important because people want to know the truth. That's what this book is all about. If you don't like The Best Kept Secret, say so. All I ask is that you be respectful when you do.

In the meantime, you have exactly 40 days to reserve your copy of The Best Kept Secret and be one of the first to read it on June 2nd! I don't know about you, but that is exciting news.

40 DAYS. I'M 40 DAYS AWAY FROM BEING PUBLISHED.

Ridiculous.

So, that's my friendly little PSA. I'd love for you to go get the book. Also, it's only $2.99 and you spent at least a dollar more than that on your coffee this morning (I did.) so unless you just don't have a Kindle (I bet you have an iPhone though and there is a Kindle app!) you really don't have an excuse. I mean, you could just hate me and refuse to buy it out of spite, but if that's the case then WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

All kidding aside, thank you for your support these last few months. This story is very close to my heart and I can't wait for you to read it.

Lots of love,
Wendi
